The Volquartsen trigger kit makes it a slick 1.5lb break. Kind of mind blowing. The only thing I'm not entirely happy with is the sights. The rear notch is pretty narrow and they're just flat black, not really eye catching. Debating various iron sight options or if I should go whole hog and put a red dot on the railz.

I'm all for some fishing, however it seems like Oregon fish and wildlife did some weird things this year due to numbers and whatnot, and they banned fishing in a few areas during the season. Granted we're talking something later in the year but if fishing is a big part of the trip it might dictate where the actual hiking/camping takes place.

No possums here thankfully. Raccoons are usually about 8-10 a year on average. A couple years ago was the outlier with 18 raccoons and a skunk.

Would really rather have the extra sleep. But then again don't want to wake up to a coop full of headless chickens either.

I got a grey squirrel tearing up my basement and he's managed to to out-fox me for over a week now. Getting so annoyed.

They work in the same way that real silencers do, but since they're permanently fixed to the barrel and unable to handle any real firearm cartridge pressure, they don't count as far as the NFA is concerned.

A Gamo Whisper like LingcodKilla references can be bought off the shelf.

Yeah I�ve used some other high power air rifles and they are quiet a bit louder. The Whisper was a good compromise but I think the 22 would have been better than the 177.

The coastal region west of port Angeles is some of the most amazing seaside I�ve seen and I�ve been up and down the west coast. There�s some amazing sea caves and secluded beaches but takes a kayak or massive balls to approach.
The Makah nation is wretchedly poor so town in kinda depressing but the natural beauty of their land is second to none.

Love me some dumpster divers. I had one of the dudes who likes to raise a ruckus in my yard during the summer. He/She may have been chased off by the crows this year. Only saw it like once compared to poo poo ton the year before. Crows are better anyways. They at least warn our chickens when raptors are around.
