VR is a scourge (probably  depending on whether you work night shift at the poser model factory)There's a sequel too. These "games" seem to be tapping into a very specific demographic, but the elements are so disjointed, I can't work out exactly what demographic that is.

If Epic's storefront has even one dude casually flipping a "yep" / "nope" coin, it will be better than whatever Steam is doing right now. I really hope that competition encourages Steam to actually introduce some level of moderation.

The other trick I've heard is take your shovelware game, price it unreasonably high, and then mark it 80%-90% off on sales to try and get people who will reflexively buy anything that has a steep "discount". If you don't buy it at that discount you're basically throwing the money away!
