Also people generally don't want challenging AI, they just want to enough resistance that it feels satisfying when you push it over. When AI actually starts doing things that human players might do, it gets quickly annoying.

Wow, that trailer took a couple turns, all without the cheesy music ever changing. Standard dating sim conversation. The protagonist taking creep shots through the girl's windows in the middle of the night. The protagonist hiding in what appears to be a linen closet in the bathroom watching a girl shower. The protagonist chasing something indistinct through the woods while firing a handgun.
