That was hard to watch. When you think about it, Rogers did that for himself. He had one of, if not the most notorious pirates in the world, alive. He should have shipped him to the colonies or back to England as quick as he could to hang him publicly. There aren't enough pirates running around anymore to offer much resistance, and no one knew where they were, or where they were heading. Instead he tortured him in front of a bunch of people he was going to hang anyways. I guess he was going to let one survive, but that still wouldn't be as impressive as Blackbeard hanging in England. Unless it was hinting that Teach was the survivor from the story, which I kind of have a hard time making fit but I can work with it I guess. That was a really satisfying conclusion. They did a pretty good job. Crap now what, this filled the role of Spartacus for me and now its over. Is there another historical fantasy show in the pipeline other than that white princess thing?
