Aldo has also been the #1 Featherweight in the world before the UFC had the division, and fought (and beat) nearly every FW worth mentioning. Conor's rise has been nothing short of amazing, but barely going 1-1 with Nate Diaz in vanity fights while not defending your belts isn't nearly as impressive.
