Mister Speaker posted:Anyway I figured you guys would get a kick out of this. I'm already 99% sure he's a phony, but at the end of this video he states his 'military ID' and I don't know enough to know if that sounds fake. Thoughts? He's fake as poo poo. Like, very few veterans are out and proud like that, those that are often left the service under bad circumstances. Nearly all special forces aside from a select few like to openly talk about their service for multiple reasons. Airsoft and tactics advice just seals the bullshit. Syncopated posted:This mostly applies to seals afaik I know of one ex-Green Beret who is basically verified, has a bunch of stuff from his time in service. He really doesn't like talking about it at all, and avoids talking about his time in. But yeah, Seals don't seem to talk about their service at all, unless they are complete dicks like a few famous examples.

pantslesswithwolves posted:Tbf both sides end up resorting to bureaucratic fuckery to undermine both legal gun sales and access to legal abortion to the degree where it’s nearly impossible for anyone who isn’t rich and have considerable resources to get either. Though technically legal, it’s a bad and lovely manipulation of the law and the “I’M NOT HITTING YOU! I’M NOT HITTING YOU!” way of attaining a similar policy goal. The NRA is largely responsible for undermining legal gun sales by making it a free for all. Largely by fighting against implementation of common sense background check laws and restrictions.
