I remember seeing a short where someone took a swig of something and another person burst out of his skin, then another burst out of that skin and so on and son on until there's a mile-high stack of decaying skins. Anyone else remember it?

got any sevens posted:This actually was meant for kids (I was one of them!) but it is so weird. Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure was one of my favorites as a kid. The first half is pretty much non-stop great stuff, but the second half is kind of a slog until the end. The Camel's song is probably my favorite scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKQx7wHAtzE

Turns out I posted a list of the films I saw at a film festival on a message board back in 2001. "Drink" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xjl9unznDOM The same animation programme also had these films: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Bo05UA93_M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEPgNDKI-dw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20KfsMXw0yE It closed with Rejected, which was awesome to see on the big screen with deafening sound.

Artsygrrl posted:What is even crazier is just how swiftly the direction changed after the war, in terms of who the cartoonists had to target. And yeah, someday I want a DVD of Snafu. There's a Blu-Ray on Amazon for $15. All HD restorations from National Archives materials. The Snafu cartoons are neat because it gives you an idea of what Bob Clampett and Frank Tashlin would have done without Production Code stuff to hold them back.

"Spies" is my favorite one, even if it's not as raunchy as others. Plus, it was one of the shorts Ted "Dr. Seuss" Geisel wrote. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwSHKIyQey4

Artsygrrl posted:This one comes from Zlatko Grgic via the National Film Board of Canada, and is about fire safety - I give you Hot Stuff (1971). NFB Canada shorts are awesome and often hilarious. This is another great one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yo80yS8_42Q Main voice actor is Marshall Efron, who voiced Synonamess Botch in Twice Upon a Time.
