Math is math. There is no capitalist math and socialist math. If your plan doesn't add up then you have no plan. I really think neither party has a workable plan right now.

Math has actual numbers backing it up, ted cruz only has rhetoric.

CC's premise is that Cruz somehow got away with murder, even though everyone in the audience can see he's the Zodiac Killer.

Prove it. Show the numbers.

we spend more money on healthcare per year than every single nation on eath who has universal health care

i mean gently caress we wouldn't even need to raise taxes on the rich with those kinds of numbers to make uhc work. we spend that much because it is for-profit and we have no controls on pricing, we'd almost certainly be spending far less per capita with a uhc system, just like every other nation on earth who has one.

Also, the cost of the program would go down as time went on since people would get all their minor poo poo treated before it becomes major poo poo.

I sat down today and watched the debate on youtube. I am biased as I live in a country that has universal healthcare.

Overall, I think that Sanders did a better job. I didn't like the way the hair salon question played out though.

Do you think that Sanders could do better in that particular question? In what way?

Honestly? Not really. a lot of business owners in the us view any critisism of their business practices as you telling them how to run business. This is why a lot of small business fail, because the owner fucks up and refuses to acknowledge that the gently caress up, double down, then blame govment regs when they go outta business.

govment regs can be cause of this, especially when used to assist large polypolies, but making sure your workers have health insurance ain't it.

to that end, the best thing to do is to just come out and say "if you cant provide health care and stay in business your a lovely business owner"
