I have no idea why tomochan elicits such a volatile reaction from chat thread posters but boy folks get worked up over tomochan not being perfect. Yeah, Tomo as a character is adorable and I think one of the big draws for the series is the way the author draws faces and expressions. Which is also why I don't like Jun, he's so boringly expressionless 99% of the time.

Starbound is at best a middling game, has an ugly development history, and looks like garbage compared to the game it's supposedly a spiritual successor to. Tomochan looks great and is fun, already two things it has over starbound!
