Joke's on you, assholes, I'm sitting in a red chair wearing black pants, so there!

Also, Yapo not putting even a single point into Envenom upsets me more than it should. It's a great skill with steady DoT, adds debuffs as you go up the skill tree and it works (or at least, it used to, not sure if it still does in AE) with a huge number of skills. Sniping enemies with throwing knives or a bow and having them half-dead by the time they reach you never gets dull.

I hadn't really thought about co-op ARPG etiquette before. I play multiplayer games extremely rarely, but Titan Quest is a game I've played all the way through in co-op at least a couple of times.

I remember at a previous job there was a bunch of us playing through it during our lunch breaks for a while. I would use movement speed increasing items, XP-gain increasing items, level up whenever I felt like it, portal back to town whenever my inventory happened to fill up, etc.

Man, I was being a real jerk and I didn't even realise it. :saddowns:

If you're playing with pubbies, whatever, no one there's expecting much of anyone. With friends though, yeah, it's nice to make sure one guy isn't storming ahead of everyone else. Obviously, it's different if one guy has a build that's slow to gain power and has to be carried for a while or if they've got a specialised build that has trouble with certain areas (Duriel with ice sorcs in Diablo 2 springs to mind) but it's more fun when everyone's at an equal level. No one wants to think they're not pulling their own weight.

One of my favourite characters I ever played was an Enlightened Fist (monk/mage - a literal Punchwizard) with a focus on elemental touch attacks. I was the Avatar, motherfuckers!
