I had read the frontpage articles for years and were aware of the forums but never really bothered to venture into them, especially with the reputation of being super strict with rules and easy to get banned from. Eventually I decided to wander in and the threads I could see for free were good enough so that I decided to sign up to kill time. There was usually a few good threads that I could keep up with, good mix of humor and information. More or less the same reason I stick around, usually a few threads worth reading and keeping up with.

Thinking about it, I think SA is the only forum that I check on a daily basis. Most of my old haunts are either gone or have such low activity that I can check it like once a week and be caught up.
