Wanderer posted:Weird coincidence: 8-Ball shows up for a panel in today's new issue of Star-Lord, so I guess there's another one now. The card game Sentinels of the Multiverse also, um, homaged 8-Ball:

If you want to complicate Warlock's family tree even more, don't forget Greg Pak's 2004 miniseries (which, IIRC, was canceled after two issues; four were published). I think the idea of Adam having to act as a mentor to a younger, angrier version of himself is the most interesting thing anyone has done with Warlock in about a quarter century, so of course it was promptly forgotten the moment the last issue of the Pak series went off to the pulping machine.

I'm gonna be that guy and say, wait, isn't the Wrecker's crowbar a powerful magic artifact? Shouldn't it be a bit harder for the Melter to make it go poof?

I have nearly the entire run of Defenders, and Nighthawk II is the most boring, generic character ever. The only thing notable about him is how long he managed to stick with the Defenders when the membership was changing every other month or so.

So basically he's the Kingpin without the physical fitness. Special Skills and Abilities posted:The Slug's high percentage of fat enables him to float effortlessly in water. It's not a special ability if large swathes of America have it.

Isn't the second one Cap decapitating (ha) Baron Blood? Not so much killing as re-deadifying.

DC also did a Shazam Showcase, although it's the '70s version of Captain Marvel, not the original '40s stuff.

theironjef posted:Wow was this rad dude the sole reason that the old Marvel FASERIP RPG had a changeling entry in the character origin rolls (provided you were using the ultimate powers sourcebook)? Nah, the FASERIP Changeling could change between various body types. Woodgod's Changelings were just animal people like the High Evolutionary's crew.
