Hickman also uses the idea in Secret Warriors but his Zodiac is basically every big name spy organization tied together by an ancient secret.

Kind of weird that they made him Egyptian related when he's an obvious take on the Greek mythological figure Antaeus. His mother was Gaia so he couldn't be defeated while touching the ground. So Hercules kills him by picking him up.
