William Gaddis is pretty great. JR is a good place to start. JR is one of the main characters, an 11 year old boy and financial genius who builds a business empire from a payphone he has installed in his school. It's very funny and you've got a lot going on that you might miss, but don't worry about that just go with the flow and it'll all come together.
