I mean, the sport touring bikes feel great but purely sport bikes I could see being very uncomfortable for touring. Depends on the distance and what kind of traffic. I've done 180 mile trips on our zx6 and didn't think twice about it since it was all open freeway. Gets tiring in heavy traffic though. Seats-wise all of mine have stock seats and they don't bother me.
