I guess all those dumb rear end trademachine posts where you offer a bunch of bench trash for a star aren't that far off from reality

If Buddy Hield's a top 5 pick they could have traded a lot less to move up two spots last year to draft him.

Trade some of the other vets for peanuts and this looks like a team you use to secure the top 5 picks in 2k

Adun posted:As a non-Kings NBA fan I'm really looking forward to seeing Boogie and AD on the same team. Considering how he's ran the team so far this year, Gentry is going to completely waste this front court combo until he's fired.

Dexo posted:Uh, Curry is far and away better than Nash. Steve shot the three ball as good if not better than Curry in a bunch of seasons and was much more complete inside the arc than Curry can ever dream of being. Curry isn't even the best player on his team right now.

Ignoring the fact that they only ever added Rudy Gay and Carl Landry as legitimate NBA starters, the only help Cousins ever got was from a midget PG that the ownership group chased away. I don't think Lebron could have dragged some of these teams.

Nash also could create like a mother fucker and basically helped invent the modern NBA. Sure he got a fake MVP once but I don't think it's that insane to want Nash over Curry, or to even say Nash is a better basketball player.

Paul Zuvella posted:I think that the craziest thing about this trade is that there is a very real chance that Cousins and Davis are not going to mesh together on the court defensively. Offensively this has a chance to be a game changer, having two bigs with range that can also punish you down low could greatly punish teams for going small. Cousins locks down the paint Davis plays weakside defense. I can't wait for that offense though. Holy gently caress.

I love watching Tobias Harris play. He's super underrated and is gritty like a mother fucker. Scott Skiles is a boner and is too angry to be a good coach

Honestly this year's college basketball has been really fun. Tons of down to the wire games, tons of upsets, and lots of really talented teams.

I mean yeah Buddy had a pretty fun senior season in college and has looked like a decent 3 point shooter at times, but how the gently caress can you be that obsessed with a middling guard prospect? The first time those two teams met Buddy had 22 minutes, went 6-16 with two rebounds and an assist, and missed 6 of his 7 3's. The second time they met Buddy played 14 minutes, went 2-5, and got two assists for a whopping 5 points. I don't loving get it. I don't understand Vivek. I don't understand how people can be so rich and have such a lovely understanding of risk assessment.
