What happens if you just type in "230" at random. Does it trigger the game over, or just if you type it into a prompt?

A morbid thought... can you hang yourself with the rope? And would that be considered "winning" the game (as the people holding you can't get the information if you're dead, after all)?

I can't really see making a ladder out of rope and sticks that would work for crossing a pit, though you might be able to make one to safely enter the pit? Maybe you have to make a ladder to climb down the pit safely as part of an escape route?

I'm guessing that "Running the island for the shrinks" may mean making more business for them? Can you increase surveillance at all past 100, or maybe try decreasing everything that isn't security, gates, surveillance and communications so that they're all higher than the rest? Maybe you're supposed to make the citizens feel more paranoid, so they go to the shrinks more.
