However things have changed pretty drastically in Cuba since then for gay people and yeah, I think we should ape their model for socialized medicine because it's had impressive results despite inhumane sanctions by us. Also transgender people have better healthcare for their transitions than they do in the large majority of the US so you can gently caress off with your whataboutism in service of imperialism.
