the best part about the zlatan elbow is that he easily won the header and didnt even bother trying to go for goal

Not gonna lie, as a Liverpool fan, I'd laugh very hard if Arsenal lost a top 4 position at the expense of a Manchester side. Unless Liverpool lost a top 4 position as well that is. I've gone off topic here. My central point is this; Arsenal can gently caress right off.

Liverpool's wages rose from £166m (2015) to £208m (2016) 69% of turnover How did it rise that much in one year? What shitlords are getting all that money?

PirateBob posted:Liverpool's wages rose from £166m (2015) to £208m (2016) Not sure on the exact details but that summer we trimmed a lot of deadweight and replaced them with (also terrible) first teams. The only notable leavers were Gerrard and Sterling, we added Milner (free but fairly high wages), Ings, Firmino, Clyne, and Benteke. I'm fairly sure there were some contract extensions in that time as well.

First time seeing it I thought yeah he meant to do that...but the more I look at it I don't think he actually meant to stamp on him. He runs into Rooney as he gets up and stumbles a bit. Also lol at Zlatan attempting to stamp on him in the challenge before

They'll ban the both of them (probably for four matches each), but had Zlatan not retaliated Mings probably could have argued that it was accidental.

Wengy dropped Sanchez because he had a meltdown in training before the Liverpool match. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/mar/05/alexis-sanchez-stormed-out-arsenal-training-row-team-mates-dropped-liverpool

I'd have a loving meltdown too if I ran my arse off each game and had to turn around and see Ozil shrugging in bug-eyed indifference every time.

Alexis is the prototypical Arsenal player in that he chases lost causes for 90 minutes but then Wenger puts a whole bunch of wasteman behind him who can't be bothered.
