Up here in Albany, in FEBRUARY we had two days where it went over 70F. In Albany. In February. My FIL is an old farmer (71 and he and his twin brother still go out every day) and he says that the old farmers are worried. Apparently it's the boomer farmers that are all the climate change denying crazyies. The old farmers and the young farmers see what's going on and they're concerned.

What do you guys call the State Police? I grew up in MA, and they've always been "Staties". My wife grew up in Upstate NY, and they've been "Troopers" and when we first started dating, she though it was weird that I called them Staties. Now I'm wondering what other nicknames people have for their state police.

No fun nicknames? Also in Provinces with OPP, do you get OPP (yeah you know me) and Mounties?

I'd love to lose that 14 lbs and be back around 200. That's a decent compromise from "having to work like a dog to keep the weight off" and "heavy enough that I'm annoyed how my clothes fit and feel bad about having a gut. Having the willpower to lose weight is just such a grind. Plus, I work in an office driving a desk all day long.
