SO DEMANDING posted:i should qualify, i hardly used any IM services. i had accounts with all the major ones and often hosed around with crap like trillian, gaim, and some other weird and really spergy multi-protocol client i can't remember i remember third party clients allowed you to grief people pretty easily. one didn't have a nudge timer, so you could send a ton in rapid succession, and i recall a mostly broken feature that shows if someone blocked you. it didn't work very well, i remember people starting fights with others when people logged in from my computer and saw they were "blocked" by so and so
