Everywhere that I've worked in the Northern Territory and Queensland had one or more frogs that hung out in the toilets of the accommodation. You would put a brick or water bottle on the lid to keep them from crawling out and making GBS threads all over your room, and then before you lifted the lid to use the toilet, you'd flush to make sure they all hosed off down the s-bend.

loving hell, I had 10mg oxy tablets after surgery recently and they made me basically into a drooling idiot for 8-10 hours. Well, more so than usual. 125mg is a Heroic dose.

Edit: actually I'm pretty sure that contains 1/8th of a grain of morphine. That's still 8mg, so plus the rest, you're not going to care about coughing for a while.

Is the joke here that only an rear end in a top hat has the phone out during a movie (not to mention takes photos of people at the cinema)?

The joke here is that because both of the photos were taken with the lights still on, the movie wasn't going yet and that the person taking the photos knew the person in them, because they set it up to get likes on social media.

my "favorite" not-whiskey is Jaburn I think it's called.

It doesn't say Whiskey or Whisky anywhere on the bottle, but it's kind of square, the label is black, and the booze itself is brown.

Turns out it's a lovely vodka with caramel coloring & i guess it survives by kind of looking like a whiskey?

He is in the grand scheme of the Australian property market, which is that negative gearing and near-static wages have made sure that rich investors are the only ones able to buy houses, and that instead of blaming themselves or bad wage growth, they blame millennials for spending money on things they see as frivolous.

Not sure why I'm making actual posts in response to PCOS Bill but here we are.

Believe it or not, there's actually more nuance to the situation than PCOS Bill put into his post.

I know, it's incredible, right?

quote:

In 2005, he wrote a group of New York Times articles about online child pornography. One of those articles was about Justin Berry, a then-18 year old who operated pornographic websites featuring himself and other teen males.[6][7] For this reporting, he received the Payne Award for Ethics in Journalism, for "preserving the editorial integrity of an important story while reaching out to assist his source, Justin Berry, in reporting on Berry’s involvement in child pornography."[8] He was also later criticized when it came to light that he had given Berry an undisclosed $2,000 before writing the articles
