I'm curious to see where Quincey fits in in Columbus. With the D looking like this: Werenski-Jones JMFJ-Savard Murray-Nutivaara Quincey Harrington Does Quincey slot in alongside Nutsack? Murray's the weakest link in the Top 6, both from what I've seen and illustrated by: https://twitter.com/Aportzline/status/837075230971457538 ...the fact that he was seen as possibly expendable. A Korpisalo trade would've been interesting as it would've required another goalie to be brought in because Forsberg's not going to work at backup. Korpikoski (Korpi II?) will probably be in the lineup until Calvert gets back, at which point we see what happens to him.

Sergei Bobrovsky has allowed one goal in his last three games, and that goal was an OT GWG in Montreal. 3 shutouts in the last 6 for the CBJ if you account for Korpisalo vs. NYI. What's nuts about the Calder is if Matthews and Laine weren't in the running, you'd still have several good contenders to debate over. Werenski, Murray, Marner... Torts was expected to be the first coach fired and the CBJ expected to finish last. I'm amazed at what a logjam the battle for the Metro crown has become. Again. Washington was gone not even a week ago, but Pittsburgh is closing with a chunk of their NHL roster dead (because they're the Pens) and Columbus is within striking distance with a largely favorable schedule they've handled mostly as they should to this point the rest of the season. I think the only "hard" games Columbus has left are one each against Washington, Pittsburgh, and Chicago.  e- Remaining CBJ schedule (slash indicates back-to-back): @PHI, FLA, @NYI/@NJD, TOR/@WSH, PHI, BUF, @CAR/@CHI, WSH, @PIT, WPG, @PHI/@TOR. There are four very good Metro teams. One of them will not make it out of the first round, and another will be bounced in the second. That's dumb. Related to this, FOX Sports Ohio says Washington clinches with a win + CBJ win over the Isles. If Columbus wins, they clinch with any two points the rest of the way.
