With Edmonton in and Detroit out, I believe I've seen every team both make and miss the playoffs at least once in the length of time since I've been watching full NHL seasons (2006-07). The first SCF I watched was Oilers/Canes, though, but I only really picked up the NHL that Spring.

gently caress Corey Perry spraying in the general direction of Patrick Roy was a good one, too.Matt Zerella posted:Ah, good point, he was a lil baby back bitch the first few years. Pretty sure Jagr screamed at him to GET UP in a Rangers-Pens playoff game but I can't find video of it anywhere. I'm not saying there wasn't a reason for Crosby to throw his head back here because there was, but this: https://twitter.com/BlueJacketsNHL/status/812103497541943297 ...was an elbowing penalty on Scott Hartnell.

I know Crosby was reacting to getting whacked by Dumolin's stick, I get it. I joke because it sure didn't look that way on replays in the arena.

Two things I noticed today glancing at the standings: Minnesota has one (1) win in their last 10. Carolina could be two points out of a playoff spot if they beat the CBJ tonight.

Hey Jackets, your defensive play and goaltending have been fairly spectacular of late, but would you mind scoring more than two goals? I mean, let's be fair, Philadelphia and Carolina were also very solid defensively, but actually scoring goals are going to be a valuable skill in a couple weeks.

It's a bizarre sensation to feel better about your team after a regulation loss to Chicago than you did after a game against Carolina where you at least got a point.
