I have actually been meaning to get into Baldur's Gate, but turned off by the fact it seems to very much expect the player to know the DnD mechanics and spells by heart, also by seemingly always fighting against stronger foes, which after years of conditioning by newer RPGs feels like I'm doing something fundamentally wrong. So listening to this actually has been helpful in clearing up some of the questions I've had and giving me pointers, and it works surprisingly well as a format, even though I was initially pretty skeptical about a podcast retelling one's playthroughs. Thanks! Also it's called podplay.
