I kind of feel bad for Game Freak, they just made all the 3D Pokémon models again and the series is going to get moved to a much more powerful system. People running Pokemon Moon on emulator at a higher rendered resolution looks good so just a 720p version on Switch would probably look great without graphical changes.

Happy to have been wrong. I just hope they're busting their rear end to keep this amazing momentum going and can avoid the dreaded six month game droughts in the years to come. It's still very much a Nintendo console with Nintendo games. I would say wait and see what happens next year if companies actually want to put their games on the console.

I'm not sure the average person cares about digital foundry. I'm pretty in tune with gaming and I don't even give a poo poo. If all you have is a Switch and X game is on the switch, who cares about it's technical misgivings.
