The trigger that removes the buffs is at 25% HP, so either kill the bit before the buffs go up or make sure you get it below 25 before killing it.

There's going to be a second part to it all, which will change up the limited characters available (it'll be the core crew Grand versions plus the 2018 zodiac character) and also rate up the SSRs from Right Behind You. Basically, it's up to whether or not you want some of the limiteds up now or want some that aren't up now.

On a pure limited availability level, rolling the Vajra banner is more enticing, since she won't be back until Mai or June, while Olivia and all the other Grand series are available monthly. But it's fine if you decide you want the current characters on rate up more.

So it's worth pointing out that right now the What Makes the Sky Blue rerun is going on, which allows you get a free Bahamut weapon. WMTSB2 is going live at the end of the month, and presumably the anniversary is going to give us another mangafest + general free stuff bonanza. (I'm a little sad this thread is as low-traffic as it is. )
