Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Square-Enix are killing off Hitman and are selling IO Interactive. http://www.hd.square-enix.com/eng/news/pdf/20170511_01en.pdf Who knows how long the servers for this game will stay up.

They put Deus Ex on hiatus too. Square are basically slowly killing their western franchises at this point.

Well Square-Enix thought Hitman 2016 was a bust but are making a sequel to the universally panned and disliked Thi4f, please look forward to it.

Yep. The names Diana mentions near the end are all targets from previous games. Hayamoto is from Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Beldingford from Hitman Contracts and D'Alvade is from Hitman Blood Money.
