The lead designer is the same lead designer as shadowbane. Also has designer dragon from UO. Crowfall is becoming better and better by the week. It will definitely be the goto game when albions popularity among the pvp guilds starts to wane.

An update on the goon guild preparation(H) for Albion launch on july 17th: 1. The goon guild in game(Awful Company) now has a roster of over 150 people with pretty much no alts. We are still getting many people signed up, purchasing the game, and into beta but we really anticipate having anywhere from 200-300 actual people in the game/guild with us on launch(not like the fake numbers every other guild/alliance throws out there) . This should at least allow us to not get rolled off the server week 1 and push that to week 2 or 3. 2. Those of us who are new to the beta(most of the EQMS guys) are starting to figure out PVP in this game on both a ZvZ and 5v5 scale. We have been doing hours of yellow zone ZvZ and GvG practice for the past few days and will continue to do this for the rest of beta. We have also been streaming all of this on our stream(http://www.twitch.tv/gluttonysds) and are getting a lot of guilds/players who are watching the stream to come fight us or join our side in the fights or simply advise us on how to be less newb in the fights. 3. We have setup our infrastructure with discord, forums, and mumble integrations being complete... this will hopefully allow us to grow as big as we want without becoming fat/slow/infefficient like thee fat mom from Whats Eating Gilbert Grape. This game is also the perfect game for goons as it 100% rewards teams/guilds that work together for the greater (goon) good and punishes those guilds who arent as unified as we can be(before gently caress goons happens anyway) -- think Eve Online with bows, arrows, and way more euro trash. All players can play can play a role in winning, from the casual gatherer/PVEr who plays 2 hours a week and cuts stone/dies as a meatshield in 300man battles to the dorito stained poopsocker who hits t8 before anyone else and is celebrated as the goon hero for winning 5v5s for us and is given a 3 week supply of mountain dew code red for his/her efforts. TL/DR: goons gonna try to gently caress poo poo up in game or at the very least not get poo poo on, we need you to join in and raise a frost staff in the name of Lowtax

I can't promise it will be fun, but Glutt does have a lot of experience running guilds. Darkfall is probably the most successful goons have been in an MMO aside from EVE

I've been playing with the EQMS crew for the last week. In that week those that have never touched MOBA style combat have come far enough to spank most shitter guilds I've fought before in AO. Just the other night they started to be able to hold their own against a vet guild choke slaughter. Progression is happening fast and if you already bought this game - you might as well play with these nerds and have some fun. Come have fun in this lovely poo poo game imo

We have a small crew that'll probably join up! We joined some random guild after this thread looked quiet a few weeks ago. This game's been awesome for me. I appreciate boring PvE punctuated by moments of sheer terror. PvP with consequences is great. Highlight of the beta (so far) was jumping some guys moving expensive sets of gear out to a territory for a GvG fight. Lesson learned: either move stuff well in advance of scheduled GvGs, or bring a crew to escort you and your expensive sets.
