i only had to click on 2 chapters of tsugumomo to find a page that would get me banned if i posted it like, i compared and contrasted the anime pvs for you, tsugumomo's is infinitely worse, there is my justification for why maid dragon deserves benefit of the doubt and tsugumomo does not

The heroine lady has a big toothy grin and does a WAHAHAHA laugh before she says something crazy in an old Japanese dialect. It'll be a shame if the anime doesn't live up to this

The guy who does Tsugomomo is really good at drawing action scenes but he also REALLY likes drawing naked little girls. The anime might actually be good if it tones that stuff down.

I think what puzzles me the most about Tsugumomo right now is why they released vol 19 this week, instead of waiting a month or two. Its release schedule has been pretty slow at around 2 volumes a year this far, which means there's no way they'll have vol 20 ready for a 1 cour anime starting in April. Does this mean it's double cour? Or do they just not give a poo poo about manga sales anymore.

In anticipation for the upcoming season, I went ahead and made a small survey to gauge interest in shows for the Spring Seasonal Stream. Sequels and second seasons were (mostly) excluded, and the list may change based on what actually is available in English when it comes time to stream. Scheduling of the streams will come later, when simulcast dates are announced. This season is super heavy on shows so any/all responses are appreciated and hopefully you can make one of the streams!

I guess I'm interested in these shows: Alice to Zouroku The Silver Guardian KADO What do you do at the end of the world? And...that's really it? I'm not super optimistic about this season airing something really good, but I will be happy if I'm wrong. ...I also expect I'll happily check out the first episode of just about everything because it's fun!

In order of "most likely to watch" to "ehhh": Nobunaga no Shinobi: Ise Kanegasaki-hen: Is this really a second season, or another name for the currently airing second cour? Either way, I'm in. Sakura Quest: Shirobako but with more inaka. I love workplace shows, and I love inaka shows, so this is on my must-watch list for sure. Renai Boukun: This looks fun, and cute, and dumb. I like the artstyle, and the knife gag at the end of the trailer made me laugh. Alice to Zouroku: Total wildcard. The trailer made it look like a feelgood SOL show with sci-fi elements, and I'm mildly intrigued. Cinderella Girls Gekijou: Puchimas without the Puchimas? Cinderella Girls did have a lot of good characters, so this might be fun. Hinako Note: I'm glad they decided to make a third season of Is The Order A Rabbit. The characters look a bit different though. Love Kome: We Love Rice: If I'm watching one fujo show this season, it's going to be this one. I'm excited to learn all about rice. Sword Oratoria: DanMachi was... okay? Can't say I remember much beyond the boob-string and the tooth brushing GIF though. Granblue Fantasy The Animation: The first two episodes weren't terrible, I might have room for some light fantasy filler. Attack on Titan Season 2: I don't actually want to watch this, but I'm afraid I might end up doing so anyway.

The director of the original anime passed away in 2013, and A.C.G.T. hasn't made an anime of their own since 2013 (their two anime since, dai-shogun and girls cycling club, were collabs with J.C. Starring, from left to right: Hioka Natsumi (Kumamiko's Machi and the 10yo from last fall's WIXOSS who wants her mom back) as Kotoha, the quiet one who always has her DS on her Takada Yuuki (Aoba in New Game, Rin in Aikatsu) plays Yui, the captain who cries the most Kouno Marika (Hanabi AKA the blond girl in Ping Pong Girls, Nyunyu in Flip Flappers) is Sacchan, who likes poop. Classic slice-of-life idiot. Vocal casting looks spot-on to me. The director has led a few small shows before this like Antimagic Academy. Yasukawa Shogo, in charge of composition, has been scripting for JC Staff for a long time, as well as new JoJo, and has done composition on stuff like Henneko, Neptunia, and Food Wars. Like every manga by katsuwo, this series owns.

i think i gave the shuumatsu books a pretty fair shake, but one of the young girls turned out to be the love interest which killed my interest. the guy is supposed to be their combination teacher and parent, you know? drenching everything in melodrama doesn't make that poo poo okay. sword oratoria is a spinoff that's mostly about dungeon delving rather than harem hijinks. so, it has a pretty good chance of being better than s1. i legitimately don't understand what the hell silver guardian is about. all this stuff about tomb raiders and divine power, but also there are evil gamers for some reason? it sounds weird enough that i'll watch an episode or two. oh hey i wonder what zero kara's deal is... oh. that sure is a deviantart fursona. definitely watching rage of bahamut based entirely on the strength of the first season. that was a very fun, pretty show and i liked it a lot.
