Actually I'm curious about the cover too, because bed-bug covers are also dust-mite barriers, and I'm very allergic to dust-mites.

I emailed Purple. They said their protector is not bed bug proof, but helps against most allergens (my main issue). However they recommend a mattress protector called "Sleep Tite" from another company as an alternative. I know that having dust mite proof protectors changed my allergy life.
