I like the repeated conversations explaining how Bulldog is hypermasculine because he's actually gayer than David Hyde Pierce and is projecting his insecurities

I think my favorite scene in the entire series was when everyone thinks Niles committed suicide in Frasier's bathroom.

I hope he demanded that every bottle of wine he handled/mentioned actually be that real wine

I was watching an episode last night and looked up the wine him and Niles opened and drank and it's like $450 a bottle lol

Supposedly Grammer would just be sitting down unresponsive and zonked out of his mind but as soon as they called action he'd immediately react and start acting only to shut down again after the scene ended

What? Was that a thing? I don't really remember any episodes of Frasier Minus Frasier.

This is what I heard too. Like the guy was basically completely blitzed to the point where he couldn't move, but when a scene was rolling he went hard like a goddamn madman until "cut" was called and then basically drop wherever he was.

Pretty sure that was the behind-the-scenes reason for the ep where Niles took over Frasier's show.

I think every season had at least one episode where Frasier and Nile's hosted a dinner party to hilarious results.

Although I do always appreciate the one gag where the both of them keep adding more brandy to a pot of flambe cherries up the point that is explodes when finally set a lite.

one neat thing is that they used to have guest stars come in as callers on frasier's show all the time

they're all pretty 90s like gilian anderson, jay leno, macaulay culkin, jodie foster and yo-yo ma :aaa:

Took until the internet for me to figure out why they'd show random celebrities after certain reruns.

Also, even fuckin' Stephen King.

ah crap now I need to have an IMDB window open every time I watch Frasier (the channel that shows it here does the "squeeze the credits all tiny and speed em up so we can plug the next show in the main part of the screen" thing)

This always cracks me up every time I see the episode. The way John Mahoney delivers that last line is just hilarious.

Martin: I'll bring a quart of whiskey in case of snakebite.
Niles: Dad, there are no snakes up there.
Martin: All right, I'll bring a snake.

Let's get clean and smart

There was the one where Martin solved a decades old cold case murder and Frasier thought he was a better detective than his cop dad, so he made a theory about how it was a trained chimp that did it and all the cops laughed him out of the room. That episode was like, the essence of Frasier.

Including Frasier's lame joke about the monkey getting Clarence Darrow to defend him in court.
