Misses & myself had a hotel room last night. Do what you normally do when you get a room, then we both head out. She's gone with her girlfriends for one of their birthdays. I go to the pub but come back early. Get comfortable and sit on the bed to watch some TV. I notice the bed is made. Wait a second, we didn't leave til like 8, why would a cleaner come in that late? They didn't. We didn't even wrinkle the sheets

What many fans of Kelsey’s are anticipating most is the recently announced Frasier revival coming to Paramount Plus. Kelsey calls this upcoming project the third act for his incredibly long-running television character Dr. Frasier Crane. He originated the role in 1984 on Cheers through the show’s finale in May 1993, which was followed quickly by spinoff series Frasier premiering in September 1993 and going on for 11 award-winning seasons, including four Emmys for Kelsey’s lead actor performance in a comedy series. When teasing some details on the revival, Kelsey says of his timeless character, “There’s going to be some nuances that are different, but of course it will be the same basic guy. We’ve got a script and we’re doing a polish on it.”

Kelsey’s former Frasier co-stars include David Hyde Pierce, John Mahoney, Peri Gilpin and Jane Leeves. John, who played Frasier’s witty father on the show, passed away in 2018 at the age of 77. As for the rest of the cast, Kelsey reveals that the wheels are in motion for a happy, on-screen reunion. “We’re doing our best to woo all the actors back and we have a couple things in mind there and I think it’s looking pretty good!” Kelsey even leaves open the possibility of more comedic banter with the character of Lilith, played by Bebe Neuwirth from both the Cheers and Frasier eras, as Dr. Crane’s dry-humored ex-wife. “I’m sure if Bebe wants to grace us with her presence, we’d love to have her do a couple shows, I’m sure,” says Kelsey.

When asked about how his character’s well-known radio hosting scenes might adapt with the advances in technology and the rise of podcasts over the past 17 years since Frasier’s series finale in 2004, Kelsey says, “There is some discussion about that in the script actually, so we shall see. He’s got a whole, sort of a new backstory because of the absence, the time span when he has been gone. There are several things we are going to catch up with that he went through during that decade and a half or so. Podcast may be in his future, I don’t know. There may be a podcast about the show that is in my future, I don’t know. We are talking about it.”

Boss is very good but sadly cut short. There were some rumors a TV movie might tie it up but it never happened. I mean it doesn't end on a real cliffhanger, but didn't get as much exposure as it deserved because it appeared on the then-unheard of Starz network. I need to rewatch again soon.

We're into e8 or so of the rewatch. Its funny that I have all these shows that I adored, before first watching the Sopranos in 2016. They all severely pale in comparison now, but Boss isn't as much of a letdown as some others. Its definitely best on its first run through as some of the twists are very good. Way more gratuitous sex than I remember though. (Kelsey isn't involved)

Its unreal how you can be the star one of the top shows of all time, certainly the best sitcom, and the whole rest of your resume afterwards just be utter trash. Boss is the exception. Finished S1 of the rewatch last night. I know we've talked it up a bit already but for the 18 hours it lasts, you oughta take the ride. Its tragic it never had even another season prequel to the two we got, would have made a lot of the events that conclude S1 have much more weight
