Won Le Mans last year, Daytona 24 this year, 2nd at Le Mans this year after Aston Martin won the BoP lottery and Chevy cut a tire (would have taken third and on the lead lap, which is better than what Ferrari and Porsche did). The production car is just the racing car with a few amenities (and street legalization additions) to make it "production" instead of a stripped out track car. Yeah, it's good on tracks that don't require high-downforce setups (Daytona, Sarthe), but doesn't do so hot on others.
