I grew up in a town of 254 people. Two businesses. A bar with a restaurant in back and Fletcher's Store. Fletcher's would be like a modern day mini mart with a HUGE VHS rental section. And lots of porn in the back.

My town has duck races on ice the last Saturday of January. It's a huge drunk fest and thousands of people come to it. 37th annual. Its the main fundraiser for the volunteer fire department for the year. All the locals leave and go to the bar in the next town over for the day.
