Has there been any word on a fix coming to the bug where sometimes guns firing under full auto can stop firing? Already googled it and most of the posts are older than a month.

I feel like I'm having a lot of trouble hearing footsteps compared to when I played a few months ago, did they adjust the sound level of it in patches? Are there certain settings I need to change to emphasise footsteps? Or do I just need to play more and develop a better game sense?
