But they deserve it since they're so rich already. Poor people, however, deserve nothing since if they deserved anything they wouldn't be poor!

In conclusion, you can eat some of us. The rest of us and our money will be safe far away from you. And when you're done ripping each other apart for rat meat, gasoline, and potable water, our soldiers will walk through, clean up the survivors and enslave your children. Just something to keep in mind.

You ever try talking to the average person about basic income? We're going to starve to death fighting over scraps before we figure out that spreading the wealth is a good idea. And we will deserve it (in a broad sense, not as individuals, cuz God knows there are people out there trying to make a better world).
