There's a Q Beam in a crate behind one of the locked gates in the cargo bay. No needles required and you walk right by it anyway.

Female Morgan has a purse on the counter in her apartment. That's probably the biggest difference.

double nine posted:to get that achievement/ending, you need to actively kill npcs. NOT let them be killed by environmental hazards/typhon. You don't need to kill everyone to trigger the event but you do for that particular achievement.

IIRC he won't necessarily respawn where you are but jamming a bunch of needles into your skull will alert him to your location. IMO the best way to deal with the Nightmare is to avoid him until you reach the point where you can punk him in a couple of seconds.

I guess I'm just a weirdo but I find blasting aliens with powers and stuff to be pretty enjoyable. Really though I'm just happy this game got any update at all.
