Finally giving the show a proper watch I'm really enjoying it about... nine-ish episodes in. I think Sarada might have done more than her mom did in the first series already. (Hyperbole, but only just.)

Naruto as of yet doesn't seem a bad dad, exactly, just busy. Like what happens when your dad is the President. I am more fascinated by Inojin. Sai and... Ino? Man, poor Ino really had nothing after being 'the other one who liked Sasuke.'

Not only has Sasuke not seen Sarada since she was a baby the only picture they had of him was from his Team Taka days. In happier news, the episode about a day in the life of the Uzumaki family was a genuine delight. I love Himawari hitting Naruto so hard the Nine Tails felt it and going slasher villain on Bort.

Sarada might get relegated back to supporting character but I’m impressed she got her own story arc. That said like somebody else said, Sasuke’s real jutsu is getting people to project their emotions onto him. Sakura got a cool moment. That’s a jarring experience for the Kishimoto-verse.
