my hot take is that the translation isn't as good as it was in persona 4 but it's still some of the best in the industry considering how difficult it is to localize japanese games for a western audience. not being as good as the best doesn't mean it's bad or anything, just that there's room for improvement. i think persona 5 exists in a middle ground that is perfectly acceptable.
