experiencing something heavy on really pretty visuals like steamboy or maidragon, or especially something with way trippier visuals like flip flappers or the rolling girls, in super low quality, sounds like a bad time at least if you end up liking captain tylor that should pretty much keep you covered and not suffer much outside of literally like two or three episodes with good character animation. it's a good show but it's kind of sad how much less expressive the characters are in animation than they are in writing until like the last episode where they suddenly go all out and everything looks great

i watched through the entire second half of hunter x hunter in two weeks so now i'm playing tales of xillia 2, rollercoaster tycoon 3 and the sims 2 this season i'm basically just watching re:creators while i clean up all the older stuff i started and never finished

I was going to read the manga eventually, but now that'll probably only lead to pain... yeah they skipped the first thirty chapters, which i'd be ok with since it's a good arc but not totally essential, but then they just kind of continued to cut character-building stuff
