Hey, someone give me a refresher, it's been too long since S2. Why does Mike hate and want to kill Hector again? That was put on the backburner because of the Gus stuff but I forget why he was in the desert with the rifle in the first place.

Maybe times are different now and AMC is expecting bigger numbers (if anything, they should probably be expecting the internet to cut into their numbers a lot more) but this seems to be pretty par for the course except for The Zombie Show.

I don't think there's many predictions we can make about how long the show's gonna last when we're only getting a tiny taste of the stuff they're setting up for this season. I think by the end of this season we'll have a better idea about the larger direction of the show, especially since we're starting to see more and more familiar faces. It might take 8 more episodes until Jimmy calls Francesca "sugar-tits" or it might be 2 more seasons.

I do like the story on the most recent podcast about how the editor took some liberties with Gus' reveal and Vince was initially frustrated but came around once he realized that the version he had in his head was actually worse. I feel like most of the success of Vince's shows comes from just being a showrunner who's willing to listen to their crew, it's deceptive how simple it is. Didn't he want to kill Walt Jr. in season 1 before everyone talked him down from it?

There was never a chick-fil-a near me growing up and I never saw commercials or anything so I said "chick fill uh" until I was like 20. There are probably people who live in breaking bad's world that say "pollos" really wrong.

It's like 5 minutes combined out of the podcast and it's actually really nice that the more public-facing creators take time out to highlight the work of people behind the scenes and I never understood why people are so bent out of shape about it every week.

I won't say I'm very knowledgeable in how much money a big firm makes but it caught me off guard that one of the biggest firms in the state with as many employees as it does has less than 9 mil in the bank. I mean, that's a lot of money but I assumed giant law firms were always rolling in it. Not like it matters much anyway, but y'know.
