I'm curious as to what Chuck is playing at. He clearly doesn't like the idea of Jimmy being jailed, showing some actual sympathetic traits for once, and obviously he knows he won't be a proper testimonial witness in court when he can barely stand to be outdoors. Maybe he's going to try to get Jimmy disbarred?

EDIT: the only suspension of disbelief that occurred to me though: what if they hadn't parked directly under the shoes?

He could have still shot at the shoe just as they drove by, which would still scatter some cocaine onto the truck.

Honestly yes... it wasn't until the gun shots started going off that I realized it couldn't be him. Tuco wouldn't hear gunfire and try to rationally decipher possibilities. He'd pull his gun and start firing back haphazardly in whatever direction the shot came from.
