I don't want his head on a stake or anything but I do know that when Chuck finally gets some sort of comeuppance it's going to be an extremely satisfying moment.

I mean, probably not. He's more likely to die in a tragic way that makes you feel sorry for him.

I'm thinking Chuck is saying it has to be a secret to keep Ernesto from bringing it up to Jimmy.

It seems like Chuck deliberately set it up so he would hear that part exactly, though, but if he doesn't want Jimmy to somehow hear about the tape I'm not sure yet why he'd want to do that.

Jimmy is rolling off the tape carefully and methodically until his anger gets the best of him, he yanks off the last bit and immediately we know he's off to make a different tape-related fuckup.

They are never going to fix this.

It would have been way better for one thing

It would have been pointless. What would be the conceit of the show if he hasn't got a family to provide for?

My dad. He got through season 1 of BB, but realized that watching the tragically violent and bloody downfall of a family man wasn't really something he wanted to do. He's checking out BCS, though.

How does he feel about Chuck?

Before we get further in this conversation, everyone remember that the point of the bechdel test isn't "a particular show is sexist if it fails the test", it's "the industry is sexist if most shows fail the test". It's fine for a show to be about men, it's just that almost every show is one of those.

I wonder if there's been an uptick in non-consequential dialogues between female characters in movies because of the Bechdel test, though I can't really say I've noticed one.
I also don't watch movies that often so I wouldn't know.

That was brilliant.
It's amazing that Jimmy basically did a magic trick - there's nothing up my sleeve but what's in your pocket?

I'm usually terrible at predicting stuff that happens in TV shows but I knew the crash was coming, so I was just super tense for that entire scene.

Hey I haven't caught up with the thread but how many people have said
"The switch in Jimmy's office turns on Chuck's power meter"
