i was at the big o'reilly's warehouse a few weeks ago and some woman was having trouble with her early 2000s acura v6's automatic transmission she bought the day before because of course it's hosed up its a honda v6 automatic. the dealer obviously knew it was hosed up and unloaded it to her and it didn't look like she could really afford to get it fixed which is a lovely thing to do to someone.

even my 4 cyl 90s accord it temporarily out of service while i wait to get a new used jdm transmission freighted in and then do the arduous task of replacing the drat thing. it's scary to drive it with how badly it slips and misshifts.
