my 240 caught on fire last week. it's fine now though. saw a stanced early 90s lexus ls? that obviously had some sort of suspension collapse a couple days ago. saw a stanced EK civic with the tire touching the fender and several parking tickets parked downtown while i was on my Cannondale yesterday. my city has an impound auction every other month and that's fun if you like looking at this sort of poo poo.

Sits on Pilster posted:Regularly see early 2000-era Jettas. No surprise there. What always makes me feel kinda bad is when I see older vehicles (usually domestics or Nissans) with temp plates broken down. I see one of these at least once a week. that is kind of sad. i see them pretty often in junkyards too. i like to think that some of them have temp tags just to move it around but actually a dealer would have dealer plates to use so hmmm. i was at the big o'reilly's warehouse a few weeks ago and some woman was having trouble with her early 2000s acura v6's automatic transmission she bought the day before because of course it's hosed up its a honda v6 automatic. the dealer obviously knew it was hosed up and unloaded it to her and it didn't look like she could really afford to get it fixed which is a lovely thing to do to someone. even my 4 cyl 90s accord it temporarily out of service while i wait to get a new used jdm transmission freighted in and then do the arduous task of replacing the drat thing. it's scary to drive it with how badly it slips and misshifts. berth ell pup fucked around with this message at 03:38 on Apr 17, 2017 |

~04 S60 on the side of an interstate on the way to work. It's been there a couple days. Those things are filling up junkyards very quickly.
