Does How to Read Donald Duck count? I used to own a copy, and deeply regret losing track of it during a move. One of the criticisms that stuck with me is the way Disney's comics were presented by the regime as a wholesome alternative to homegrown work which might have inconvenient political stances.

Does Dave Sim's Cerebus count? (the message is "women are evil")
Sim went out of his way to make his socio-political opinions a central part of the comic, so... probably? Although by the last 25 issues or so, he goes soaring straight past mere earthly 'politics' and into the realm of the cosmic. (Where it turns out the message is still 'no gurls allowed,' but encoded in the very fabric of the universe this time.) If the phonebook editions of Cerebus were more widely available, ideally in a viewing app of some kind, it would be ripe for a BSS group read. Few comics marry that level of craft to that level of bugshit insane and the arc it travels to reach that point is truly a thing of wonder.
