One of the ideas I have is that my friend will say something racist, and I'll scowl at him in an exaggerated way. Everyone watching will laugh really hard at the idea of someone who doesn't like racism.

I like this concept, OP, here's my idea for a "bit." I'm still working on it but feel free to refine it. What you do is you start reciting the names of unarmed black people called by the cops, and at first everyone is uncomfortable, but then you begin crying and they realize how funny it is that you're taking things too seriously.

I feel like good comedy is something that holds a mirror up to society. I'm getting a lot of inspiration for my material from life itself. For example I'm doing a bit where I read off statistics about the corporate glass ceiling and the wage gap between men and women. Then I say this is all really bad and as a society we need to change it. By hearing their own words read back to them in a funny voice, I'm hoping that feminists are able to take a step back and laugh at how ridiculous the whole thing is.

idea for a joke to do: I explain to the crowd that trigger warnings are actually a good thing, because they help prevent trauma victims from reliving their painful memories, such as sexual assault, child abuse, etc. Even tough, masculine figures such as army veterans could benefit from a society that is more tolerant and understanding towards those with PTSD. While im saying all this I go to take a drink of water and sit down on a stool, but the stool breaks and I fall over while spilling water all over myself.
