What is This Game?
Friday the 13th: The Game is an asymmetrical horror game, pitting a group of player controlled survivors against a player controlled Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th franchise. Up to eight players will play together, with one player randomly (or not-randomly if designated by a private match host) spawning as Jason. You then have to try and survive / kill everyone.

For the purposes of this thread, we'll be talking primarily about the multiplayer mode of the game. There is a singleplayer mode planned, but IDK why you would play that, because killing goons is just wonderful.

Release Date:

This game is coming out in EARLY 2017. The term "Early 2017" has become a meme of sorts, as the definition of "Early" is a hot point of contention, especially if it winds up meaning: "August." According to the developers - release will be approximately 1 month after they complete "console certification." As of the writing of this thread (April), they are "close" to console cert - so expect the game in mid-late May.

  • Game released on May 26th. My accuracy in predicting this should not go unnoticed.

The digital version of the game is $40USD while the physical edition is $60USD. You will get the multiplayer portion of the game in early 2017 with the single player portion being patched in during the summer of 2017.

Savini Jason is a backer reward and will not be purchasable. Don't cry big tears.

Why Should I Play This Game?

For the kills. The kills are brutal and glorious and fun and you should watch some of them below, even if you'll never play this game.

Some gifs for your viewing pleasure:

There's a few factors which separate this game from other Asymmetrical horror games, such as DbD:
  • You cannot "Main" playing Jason. Jason is randomized except in private games, where he can be designated specifically. You can "opt out" of playing Jason, but you can never opt out of playing Counselors. There are (or have been promised) mechanics in place to prevent people from "game shopping" for the 1/8 chance to spawn as Jason.
  • It's entertaining to die, and it's entertaining to spectate the camp / other Counselors after you are dead. There's also a mechanic where you may come back into the game after you are dead. (Tommy Jarvis)
  • It's even MORE entertaining to play Jason, and it feels "special" to get him. The more you play with Counselor, the more you can anticipate the laws of statistics to grant you the big guy.
  • Once the game ends, you will automatically rejoin the lobby with the same people. You kind of build up a sense of comradery, and it seems to reduce the salt levels dramatically compared to other, similar games. That being said, Private matches are the poo poo.

Gameplay: Camp Counselors

Tinfoil Papercut posted:

Well now that all the kids have mysteriously left the camp - let's sit around a fire and share stories about our rampant drug use and sexual conquests. Hey, who's that behind Tiffany?
You will be playing as Counselor. It will be ~87.5% of your playtime. If you don't like the idea of playing as one of these survivors, this game isn't for you. Which sucks for you, because playing as Counselor is fun. Your objective as counselor is to survive the match, which can be accomplished in three different ways:

    Victory Conditions:
So you want to survive the night? Just power up a couple gates and run away! Haha, just kidding - if you tried that nonsense on Mr. Voorhees you'd be Dead by Daylight!

    First method: Vehicular Homicide Escape!
  • Each map will have vehicles which can be repaired and used to escape the map. For one of the cars, you will require a battery, gas, and the keys - which can be looted / found in areas around the map. A boat may also spawn, which requires gas and the propeller to be installed.
  • Installing any of these items will require a repair stat based QTE. Failure of which will make noise and set your progress back a little bit. You may ask why it is so goddamn difficult for your particular counselor to fill up the gas tank, or why this activity requires any skill in repair at all. But you'll be too busy getting your head crushed by Jason to ponder these questions.
  • Each map will have a 4-person "blue" car. There is a 50/50 shot at the other vehicle being a boat or a 2-door car.
  • Oh, I should mention: You can kill other counselors with the car, and Jason can stop it. Jason can also flip your boat and quickly drag you to a watery grave. You kids buckle up and stay safe!

    Second method: Call the Cops!
  • That's right, the most straightforward and realistic answer to a serial killer attack. Call the police. Unfortunately you will need to locate a fuse and repair the phone box. (Another repair based QTE) Then you will need to make the call and wait 5 minutes for them to arrive at one randomly chosen location for you to escape on foot. You will likely need to run through the woods to get there once they arrived. I'm sure it will be fine.
  • Oh, I should mention: If you flub the QTE, which you absolutely will because it's harder than repairing the car and you chose the hot black girl, a dial tone noise will play for everyone in the game. Including Jason. Who knows where the phone is. I wonder if the 911 operator can understand the sound of blood gurgling through a crushed windpipe? (They can't)
  • PRO TIP: Jason will likely be very cognizant of anything going on around the phone early game.

    Third method: Time out.
  • After 20 minutes the match will end. If you're alive, you will survive. Simple as that.
  • Oh, I should mention: Jason gets increasingly more powerful as the match goes on, and his ability cooldowns are almost instant by the end. And you'll probably be all alone, in a completely trashed camp with few places to barricade or run to safely. Good luck!

Secret Victory Option: Killing Jason (Don't try this)
  • There is a means by which you can kill Jason. It is not meant to be easy, it is not meant to be widely known or seen. In fact, it may not be real at all. it is Do not try this.
  • You can "unmask" Jason when he is damaged enough. Do not try this.
  • Encourage your friends to try this.
  • Goons are good at doing this, but I'm not going to just put this information out for any sperg to see. Talk to your local Friday the 13th Goon expert to be trained on how to kill Jason.

    The Counselors
There's a whole host of counselors to chose from, with perks you can unlock and give them. The perks are universal and earned through leveling, but the counselors themselves vary in stats. The following video gives a great rundown of each counselor and their respective stats:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zm7cNr6cemA

For those too lazy to click your mouse and watch a 30 second advertisement for Boniva, the stats are as follows:

    • Strength: How hard you hit, gives a higher chance to stun Jason with a melee weapon. Do not try to kill him.
    • Luck: Reduces chance weapons will break when hitting Jason, minor boost to other stats. I don't know what that means.
    • Speed: Your top speed. Handy if it's higher than those around you.
    • Stamina: Your Stamina pool and regen.
    • Composure: How easily fear affects you. (important - more on this later)
    • Stealth: How good you are at not making sound. Handy for hiding from the supernatural senses of a giant killing machine.
    • Repair: How not stupid you are. Stupid people have difficulty and take longer performing complex tasks such as replacing a battery, or filling a gas tank. (Because they like to huff the fumes)

    Useful Items!
You may be fortunate enough to survive the short hike to a nearby cabin or structure! Consider yourself lucky if you made it far enough to begin looting items if it's your first game.
The following list are consumables in no particular order:

    • Pocket Knife - You need to get yourself one of these or you are probably going to die. Used for stabbing Jason in the neck when he grabs you, automatically deploys. Also can disarm Jason traps. Far and away the best item to have on you.
    • Flare Gun - Shoot Jason in the face to stun him and knock him to the ground! Or miss him and probably die. Also can highlight Jason on the minimap.
    • Walkie-Talkie -Used to voice comm with other players who have a walkie. (Note: Other players nearby you can always hear you. Jason can too.)
    • First Aid Spray -The fabled 1980's technology of instant healing in an aerosol can is available for your use! Neat!
    • Firecrackers -Used to confuse Jason's sense ability, make noise, and stun him briefly if he's on top of them.
      (Repair/Vehicle Items:)
    • Fuse
    • Gas can (non-inventory carry item)
    • Battery (non-inventory carry item)
    • Boat Propeller (non-inventory carry item)
    • Keys
    • Bear Trap (non-inventory carry item)

    Weapons!
Ahh good old fashion combat with Jason. Smart move kiddo! I'm sure he'll be dead for good once YOU try to kill him.
Generally speaking, blunt weapons have a better shot at stunning Jason, while bladed weapons do more "damage." You may be asking questions such as "What does 'damage' to Jason do?" and "Why am I trying to fight Jason?" Good questions!

Jason can be struck while he is griping another counselor and trying to line up a kill, this will break the grip and briefly stun Jason 100% of the time provided you don't hit him too early in the grip animation, or once he has started the death animation. Sometimes this window is depressingly small.

Your weapons have durability, meaning they will break eventually if you hit Jason with them. Counselors with high Luck have less of a chance for this to happen.

  • The following are the scenarios when hitting Jason is a good idea:
    • He is holding someone else by the neck, who doesn't have a knife, and you have a clear shot, and you think you can get away after.
    • You are good and practiced at baiting grabs and Jason swings and feel you can knock him out with your Counselor.

Before we move on to Jason gameplay and abilities - let's talk about important mechanics:

Fear Level

Tinfoil Papercut posted:

The only thing you have to fear, is fear itself and also Jason.
Jason is going to scare your character shitless. This is a problem, because Jason has this handy tool called Sense which detects scared counselors. When Jason uses sense, counselors he can detect are highlighted visually for him. The more scared your counselor is, and the closer you are to Jason, the better the chance at him seeing your bright red silhouette. Example below:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqNmvr1PzTw

If you're in a cabin, the entire cabin will glow red, but he will not be able to see where you are exactly inside.

If you maintain your fear level low, you will be harder to detect this way, which is why composure is a good stat. (This also depends on the Jason, some are better than others at sensing)

Other things such as radios and firecrackers, can throw off sense or throw out false noise pings.

Things that raise your fear:

  • Seeing Jason
  • Seeing Jason kill someone
  • Jason breaking windows or doors in a cabin you are in
  • Seeing a dead body
  • Jason killing the lights
  • Walking around without a flashlight on
  • Walking off trails
  • Getting in the water

Things that lower your fear:

  • Using your flashlight
  • Staying on paths
  • Locking a door
  • Finding another Counselor
  • Healing yourself
  • Finding a Weapon or repair object

Noise Making
Jason has great hearing, as he has not subjected himself to years and years of heavy metal music like the rest of us. Jason can hear noise being made based on how far he is, and how stealthy the counselor is. The minimap gives a visual cue to when you are making noise. This detection is always on.

Counselors such as Vanessa make a racket - Jason can easily see the audio cues of a Vanessa. AJ, on the other hand, has a very high stealth stat and can even sprint silently. It's a bad idea to hang around a Vanessa if you're AJ.

Tommy Jarvis

Tinfoil Papercut posted:

Tommy was the best counselor we ever had until he was caught in the cemetery after-hours and suspected of Necrophilia. Yes, he lives nearby - why do you ask?
There is a ham radio somewhere which will call in Tommy Jarvis. A randomly selected dead or escaped player will re-enter the map as Tommy Jarvis, a counselor with 10/10 stats across the board and a shotgun. He's very fast and good at everything and can help you win.

He's also a good reason to stay in-game once you die.

Note: You cannot call Tommy if the power is out to the camp with the radio. The police phone will always work regardless of the power situation, so long as you have the fuse.

Counselor Tinfoil's Survival Guide

Tinfoil Papercut posted:

We're hosed.
  • Play to your strengths. If you're fast, go grab car components and give them to someone who knows how to pour gas. If you're strong, protect that fat kid from Jason, if you ARE the fat kid, go put that gas in - everyone is having trouble with it.
  • Get a pocketknife ASAP. 2 is even better. 3 is perfect.
  • Jumping through broken windows will make you take damage, but it's relatively minor. Jumping through a second story window is a really bad idea.
  • Remember that Jason can use his abilities to get in cabins, don't get too smug with that trap at the doorway if the door is open.
  • Tell your friends what components you have. (i.e. keys, fuse) in case you die. It's better to drop these components near the objectives if you can't put them in yourself or Jason is giving chase.
  • Tell your friends where the phone is if you find it. Do not confuse the ham radio for the phone and lie to them.
  • Swimming is a bad idea. It drains your stamina, Jason can insta-gib you, he swims faster than you, you can't see him doing it, and you make a shitton of noise.
  • You might think you're clever, finding Jasons shack and hiding with Pamela. Unfortunately Pamela is a pretty big chatterbox, and she isn't chatting with you.
  • Locking doors doesn't slow Jason down much - but it does reduce your fear. Barricading doors will slow Jason down quite a bit - but some can still get in very quickly.
  • Early game Jason takes a bit to get through a door when it's braced. Once Jason has rage he can KOOL-AID man any door, so it may not be worth the time.
  • The "ki ki ki ma ma ma's" are when Jasons skills are unlocking, not that he's near.
  • Fleeing Jason is usually the best option during the early game depending on your counselor. He's going to have a harder time catching you, and if he chases it's less time he gets to "invest" in cabin ransacking or camping objectives- which will help you later.
  • Shotguns are much more lethal to other counselors than to Jason. Shoot at Jason's feet for the best chance not to kill someone else and lose 1000EXP.

Gameplay: JASON

Tinfoil Papercut posted:

Oh wait, it looks like I was Jason after all! Time to kill all of you while I breath heavily into my microphone.
Here's a video. Narration is annoying, but has good variety of skills being used.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=demRSZuTZjc

Victory Conditions:
I'll give you three guesses, but you'll only need one.

JASON abilities
Jasons abilities will unlock as the game goes on. As a general rule, they also become more potent and the cooldown decreases as the game goes on as well.
Different Jasons may have shorter / longer cooldowns or more / less potency on these abilities as well.
    Sense
Your bread and butter detection skill. Any counselors within your "Sensable area" who have a sufficiently high fear level will light up like great big bags of red luminous meat, or at least the cabin they are in.

    Morph
This ability lets you instantly teleport to an area on the map. It's not extremely accurate, however. It's used to get you to the general area. Also the first one to unlock!

    Shift
Ahh the skill you will hear the most crying about. This lets Jason disappear and rapidly move around in first person view. He can easily catch up to running counselors, go into a cabin, or dart in front of a car. Fun!
Once the game launches, please head over to :reddit: or the official forums for dissertations on why this skill is OP and should be removed because people don't like dying in this game about dying.

    Stalk
The last to unlock, this skill allows Jason to turn off the proximity music which alerts Counselors to him being nearby. Standing still allows the effect to last longer, while moving ends the skill much earlier.

The most effective usage of this is to turn it on, morph to an area you know counselors are, then shift right up to them. They'll never know you're coming and is good for a grab kill or at least a pocketknife use.

    Rage (passive)
About halfway through the game, Jason will enter RAGE MODE! Where he can break down doors and walls instantly. This skill applies automatically and requires no action from the player to toggle. Hit "E" on doors to instantly go through them. Note: there is a small animation, and a good counselor might be able to wind up a swing and bean you the moment you come through.

All Jason's melee weapons are functionally similar. Hit people, they take damage. Hit them a lot, they die! Some Jasons can hit harder than others.

    Traps
Not to be outdone by Mr. Macmillan - Jason can lay traps. Traps can only be placed outdoors. You can lay them very close to each other - sometimes even stack them up. Many, many good Jasons will lay traps at the phone. Some will lay all of them there.

    Throwing Knives
Whip a throwing knife at your nearby Counselor and wound them!

Tinfoil's Jason tips

Tinfoil Papercut posted:

*Heavy Breathing*
  • Teleport to the phone area first - you want to keep them from calling the cops early. Cars can be stopped, boats can be flipped, keys can be lost, but the police countdown is forever. (or 5 minutes)
  • These kids and their microphones will offer up loads of good information. Like: "I found a pocketknife!" or "I got the keys!" or "How do I sprint?"
  • Busted doors and windows last all game. I wonder if there's a cabin in particular you don't want them to be in? ( THE ONE WITH THE PHONE)
  • Sometimes it's just easier to mangle them with your melee hits rather than going for a grab kill. Like if they're together and plan to save each other by hitting you once you grab. Or of they're Duster and have 4 pocket knives.
  • Don't fret about kills too early, take them if the opportunity is there, but don't go chasing Vanessa for 4 minutes.
  • Kill the smart ones first. That Vanessa will be a smug poo poo all the way until she realizes she's all alone, the cops aren't coming, and she hasn't a goddamn chance in hell to get anything done.
  • It's not easy to get a shift-grab combo. Do it if you have an opportunity, but vs. a running target it's better to shift-melee or just use it to chase hard. Once they are wounded and scared, they are going down.
  • If the cops are called, the Counselors will begin congregating in the area where the police will arrive. Smart counselors will fix the car while this happens.
  • Once you hit the ~15 minute mark, the phone doesn't really matter any more.

TheAnomaly posted:

Kill the counselors.

Joking aside, pick a Jason you like (try them out on bots or whatever). Look at their strengths/weaknesses - slow shift/morph are probably the worst two weaknesses, -knives easily the best. Don't play 7 unless you're on Higgens and you're willing to use the water as a freeway.

In early game, morph to a power box, knock it out, get to the nearest objective and trap it. Morph to the phone if you haven't already, and trap it. If you have bonus traps, also trap the corner of the phone house. When you trap cars, always get the spot in front of the battery because it's unavoidable. Gas can be tricky, and you have to trap a little behind the door - if you trap the driver door itself, I can just walk to the passenger door and inch up until I can get in around your trap. Hit the other power boxes with your next set of morphs - once the lights go out, the fear racks up, and you will be able to sense counselors more easily.

Play to the strengths of your Jason - if you're 4, for example, ignore most of that and start running down counselors. All of 4's strengths are early game, so morph to and trap the phone then run to the nearest noise bubble and start hacking/slashing. If they make it to the late game, it won't be with safe places to run, so you're weaknesses won't hurt as much. Running Jasons can run down characters, but (unless you're 4) don't do it early game, get the power boxes and objectives - unless the counselor you happen on is an objective fixer. Deb/Chappa/Mitch all have lovely stamina and a running Jason can pretty easily run them down if they aren't in a group of houses.

Winning with Jason is largely about time management - don't go after fast + high stamina characters early, you're wasting your setup time and the allowing everyone else to search to their hearts content. If you have door destruction take the whacks to knock out a door - if you force someone out of a house before they finish searching it, even if you aren't going for the kill, they may miss an objective. Phone is valueable early game, but is less valueable as the game progresses - it lets all the counselors out, but it takes time AND gives them one point they have to go to. Cars are a pain, if someone starts one and gets moving Morph well ahead of them, Stalk, and then shift into it so they can't see you coming and dodge. once a car gets moving its often a death trap, but if they aren't all hovering around the car (especially if it's a two seater) you may have to let it go to get the bigger fish.

The boat is different - just check the map regularly. If it starts to move, hop into the water and kill it. You usually only have to do this once, as swimming makes a ton of noise and people rarely try to get back out to it. If you start seeing big noise bubbles in its direction you can hop back and drown them as well, but usually if you stop the boat once its done.

Remember that you can knock people off of fixing objectives with throwing knives. Nothing annoys a Chad like almost being done with a battery and then having to start over because of a knife. This is especially useful if they're trying to use firecrackers to protect a person fixing an objective. I don't usually throw knives at counselors unless I have a glut, they're at an objective, or they're they're trying to slow-climb through a window and I'm almost there myself.

The beta was fun-ish, yeah. Good Jasons always camp the phone, which is what everyone defaulted to in the beta anyway.

I'd ask about a potential "Jason X" Jason but the devs seem to be traditional horror fans. Which is confusing since Jason IX is in. Maybe not all the Jasons were noteworthy enough to get in?

I was in a Private Match with an Australian guy and a flamboyant homosexual from San Diego.

In one round, I placed a bear trap by the police exit, near a choke point. After we escaped, the Australian guy (running from Jason) stepped right into it and got his crotch/neck chopped in half within sight of the police. He called us "wankers" as we laughed at him.

The next game, Mr. Australia finds a shotgun and seeks me out to exact his revenge. He misses and hits the gay guy instead, who calls us "faggots" non-ironically.

Good OP, had the game on preorder since the Beta and loved it. It's not terribly designed like Dead by Daylight (which is a terrible game) but it was super rough around the edges. I hope they smooth everything out by release. Also, I hope they optimize the hell out of it because my laptop was going full tilt and the game doesn't even look that good graphically.

I like the fight you can fight back in a way but you'll get your rear end kicked in a prolonged fight.

I think the development objectives after beta are what you are hoping for - the core mechanics aside from Jason traps / knives are all the same. There were several times where the devs went into great technical detail about server issues and bugs, (The one where Jason would get stuck busting down a door forever) which left me with the impression they knew their poo poo on the programming end of things.

I didn't notice any issues performance wise - but I didn't run on laptop so I can't really say. :smug:

I'm running an i7 6700HQ and GTX 1060 so the game shouldn't have any issues running maxed out, but the Beta and Virtual Cabin both had my laptop working harder than Battlefield 1 does on Ultra. Also they really need to remove the AA or Tessellation they're using because everything looks like a muddy blur.

Kinda sucks the Savini skin was preorder only and I just heard about it now thanks to the OP. Hopefully when preorders go up on steam they'll offer it again.

I forget what video options there were in beta, but I assume you'll be able to toggle these things.

I did this and could have stopped it, but nothing in nature ever follows a gaussian curve. Sure, they'll tell you that it does. They say that every five minutes someone dies in a car accident, but how often are there seven hundred and sixty one armless and legless corpses in one hangar?
Adam Sessler is working on this in some capacity, I think? So that's kind of cool.

I really dig the way they are using Tommy.

It seems like you're out of luck, they were pretty firm on the Backerkit preorders being the last way of getting the Savini skin. Hopefully it is because they also stated that the skin is unique and will have it's own set of skills. Kinda lovely to lock people out of that permanently because they didn't preorder.

Sessler is in for marketing / promo, I believe. Not sure if he had much to do with development.

Here is 96% of the people who get Tommy Jarvis:

**re-spawn** "Sweet! I got Tommy Jarvis!"
**Does not attempt to repair phone or repair car, immediately heads for Jason**
    **Shoots Jason**
    "WOOOO YEEEEAH! TAKE THAT JASON!"

    "Oh poo poo...."

So, is this a full $60 release? Cause it looks cool but if it's just gonna be 1 gametype with lots of maps and multiplayer only then it looks like it'll get old quick.

I watched some twitch streams of the beta and it was funny to watch people kite jason forever when out of stamina because he was so slow, eventually people started figuring out how to play him though and then it didn't work so well anymore.

i played a TON of the alpha, i was hooked, pretty much only didn't play when the servers were having issues... which was often

it's hella fun but there's a problem where everyone, including u, wants to play jason. so you play and play and you play all night and you never even got to be jason once! i don't want the counselor game to degenerate to a jason waiting room but i fear that may end up being a problem unless they address it. the counselor stuff is fine, but it does get stale when you just wanna chop some kids up for your momma

I remember friendly fire being on in the Beta. Long story short, Tommy Jarvis shot me in the face.

Yeah, friendly fire is the correct design decision imo. I'm concerned about deeper balancing issues, such as the woefully underdeveloped melee combat system. Combat stance was just... ugh, I'm not sure what they want the counselors to be able to actually do vs. Jason. Not much, which is how it should be, but then why is it even a thing. Shotgun to the face is the only attack with any real impact and all that does is buy the counselors a few seconds to run, pretty much most useful when he's exitcamping

I wanna say combat stance is for people who want to take a chance at melee stunning Jason? I agree that if the aim is for counselors to always run from Jason that combat stance isn't a good idea. Though knowing how the game usually progresses assuming no quick police, Jason''s Rage probably makes him way more immune to anything not a shotgun.

I always think of that black dude that got his head punched clean off in Jason Takes Manhattan, or the dude that tried to 1 v1 Michael in the Halloween remake. Normal folks just can't go toe to toe with supernatural beings.

I *think* they said somewhere there was going to be a failsafe if you have bad luck and haven't had Jason in a while.

Eh, sounds like ill wait for the first sale on it. Between Evolve and For Honor I'm a little worried about multiplayer only affairs. It seems so easy to make cool carrots on sticks to keep people playing, but so far nothing has really satisfied.

Edit: but at least there is some kind of campaign attached to it. Honestly if the digital 40 gets me at least 2 movies worth of recreating beloved scenes from I'd probably be happy with that.

loving woof. I was jazzed about this game after seeing some of the early footage, but that's about $20 more than they should be charging for a single-mode multiplayer game with some tacked on single player stuff.

It's randomized along with all other items, but I think there's only a set amount of spawn locations.

The map featured in Beta had 4 named camps (Higgen's, Stillwater, Evergreen, and Blairs, I think?).

Each camp had a power generator, as well as a chance for the phone or ham radio. Those were randomized as to which camp they are in, but the location at each camp was always the same if it was there. The requirement of the fuse item was added after beta, and this item always spawns in the same camp as the phone as well.

For example: If the phone decides to spawn at Higgen's, it will always be at the big two-story house. The fuse will be somewhere in the house, or at the cabins which are part of the camp a bit to the north.

I also can't stress enough how bad it is to flub the phone line repair. Any Jason worth his salt WILL stop what he is doing and come try to kill you.

Sorry if the price is too steep for some of you, but I had at least 3x as much fun during the short beta than playing DbD. I would buy if it were 60. :homebrew:

Required by his programming!
how did itemization and map distribution work in the beta? it strikes me that one of the skill ceilings in this game will be people memorizing where items and objectives spawn in relation to each other. this happened in DbD to some extent but the nature of that game made knowing where stuff was fairly unimportant outside of the black hatch that let you escape if you were the last one standing. strikes me that knowing the 25 places stuff can spawn in a specific cabin would be an extremely big deal in this game.
