 this is how you should be doing it euro keyboard is also better than british because british maps £ to shift-3 and # to alt-3 (instead of vice-versa) alt + space inserts a non-breaking space which fucks up you're are commenting when typing "# " took me a couple of years of loving up all my comments before i figured that one out
